My training and years of experience:

In January, I enrolled in an International Coaching Federation (ICF) approved coaching program with Canada Coach Academy. The eight-month long program requires 120+ hours of training (including both synchronous face-to-face and asynchronous) and 100+ hours of 1:1 and group coaching experience. To date, I have accrued nearly 40 hours of coaching experience with an intention to become an ICF-certified coach by December 2022.

I have also been a member and facilitator of good standing in a men’s group focusing on supporting and facilitating men’s work and accountability for the past seven years in Nelson.

My style, focus and what I offer to clients:

Integrity, compassion, and trust are the fundamental values that underpin my growing practice. I offer clients a safe space that supports their desire for personal and professional growth with a focus (primarily) on the future. Coaching is for those who are ready to grow. The emphasis of a coaching relationship is on action, accountability, and follow-through; it is intended to support the client to help deepen self-awareness.

The coaching relationship is one of partnership and support through a values-oriented approach. My work as a coach is to be of service to my client; to be a witness. Professional coaching is neither therapy or mentorship. In fact, the coaching relationship does not include advising or counselling. My role as a coach is to shine a light on something my client cannot see for themselves.

In-person? Zoom? Phone? Text?:

I am available for any kind of client-preferred distance method of communication including Zoom, Skype, FaceTime, Meet, and/or phone.

I will provide service at - No Cost? Low Cost?:

I commit to REACH OUT’s request of one free client/year or 10 free sessions/year.

Beyond that I will provide service at low cost ($50/session)

How to book with me:

If you are curious to see how coaching can help to maximize both your personal and professional potential, please contact me to book a brief 20-30 minute discovery call. The discovery call (by video or phone) helps to determine whether the prospective client and coach would be a good fit to work together. The chat also gives prospective clients an opportunity to ask more questions about the coaching process. If, after the discovery call, both the client and coach feel comfortable about moving ahead together, a follow-up full-length one-hour session may then be arranged.
