My training and years of experience:

Seven years ago, I rediscovered my own connection with nature and discovered the benefits for grounding, reflection, and self-care. This inspired me to find ways to support others through a land-based approach. I am a certified forest therapy guide with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy and have been leading guided forest therapy walks for the past two years. I also bring 20 years of experience as an educator, including training in inclusive education, which has shaped how I create supportive spaces for people with diverse backgrounds, needs, and ways of engaging with the world. I am currently completing the Wilderness Mental Health First Responder course through the Institute for Wild Med.

My style, focus and what I offer to clients:

I offer guided forest therapy walks for people seeking to slow down, take a break from the demands of daily life, and reconnect with themselves through nature. This involves walking at a comfortable pace or spending time in stillness, focusing on sensory experience, and allowing space for reflection. Forest therapy can help reduce stress, increases self-awareness, and supports healing and personal growth in a calm, non-judgmental environment.

I take a flexible, person-centred approach, adapting each walk to individual needs and comfort. I have a particular interest in supporting people experiencing autistic burnout, those navigating addiction or recovery, and people involved with the criminal justice system, while welcoming anyone who feels this approach would be beneficial. Walks are generally short and slow-paced, suitable for any fitness level, and no experience with nature is required.

In-person? Zoom? Phone? Text?:

Sessions are most often offered in-person (individual or small group), although I also have experience leading walks through Zoom.

If sessions are in-person, the geographic area I serve:
