Miranda Terlingen

My training and years of experience:
I am a registered clinical counsellor (RCC) and graduate of Gonzaga University with Masters of Counselling with additional training in Relational Somatic Therapy  and E.M.D.R. Therapy. I am also an educator in the school system and have worked as a counsellor with teens and families at the highschool as well as an outdoor education guide.

My style, focus and what I offer to clients:
I believe in our shared ability for growth and learning, even when there are life’s external and internal challenges. I am experiential and bring tactile, attachment centred, present time resourcing into my work with clients, youth, adults and seniors. We can weave in somatic therapy and E.M.D.R. therapy, as counselling tools that can support holistic weaving of present, past, future to positive neural networks. 
 
In working with clients, I believe you are the expert in your life and I see myself as a gentle guide listening deeply and attuning to you as we move together  toward what your heart, mind and body are seeking to resolve. I believe in your capacity to heal and I would feel humbled to share a part of that journey with you. I look forward to meeting you to discover what approach and terrain you want to explore in our time together.

I commit to REACH OUT's request of one free client/year or 10 free sessions/year and beyond that, I offer sliding scale options from $0-50 with limited availability.
